The Memories of Elvis Fan Club are proud to present again our annual Elvis in the Park free concert. We gather to celebrate Elvis' 78th Birthday.

We offer you 6 top NZ Elvis entertainers on this day, and they are: Brendon Chase, Steve Fitter, Cameron Wakefield, George Brooking, David Wharehinga & Gordon Seconi. All of these fine Elvis Entertainers have entered Elvis Downunder Competition and all have been placed in the top group. Several have also competed in Australia.

We also have new faces where we offer new Elvis Entertainers to be heard. Please take the time to check out our Memorial to Elvis at Cranwell Park Henderson either on this day, or any time you can. Just leave some flowers when you go. We are very grateful to the then Waitakere City for giving us the position for our Elvis Memorial and also funding a replacement one after our original was damaged.

We also have on the day lots of classic cars and hot rods to look at. We have food stalls, ice cream, coffee, and memorabilia for sale. Our Elvis Fan Club also has a selection of items for sale, including t-shirts and singlets, keys and a new range of Elvis necklaces

Bring your seats, your sun tan lotion, your friends and enjoy what we have to offer. Also bring some money for our great raffle, as we do need you support to keep this wonderful day a free day.

Please park at Tui Glen off Edmonton Road and the parking wardens will direct you across the bridge to Cranwell Park.

We had an amazing day yesterday with our 'Elvis in the Par'k' free family day. We had 7 great Elvis Entertainers and the day proved to be hot, we had some cloud but plenty of sun as well. We started at 11.00am and the crowd was still wanting more at 5.15pm. But we had to stop then. Still we invite you all to come back on the second Sunday of January next year (January 12th 2014) and lets do it all again. We had visitors from South Africa, Australia, United States and from all over NZ. We thank them all for coming to share this day with the Memories of Elvis Fan Club NZ. This is a great way to Celebrate Elvis' Birthday and we thank Auckland Council, PBT Transport and Plantarama for their extremly kind support. email elvisfanclubnz@xtra.co.nz for more information.
