Auckland International Buskers Festival

Auckland’s 13th Annual International Buskers Festival will be showcasing 11 of the most spectacular street performers on earth.

This wildly successful, wacky and wonderful festival hits the streets of Auckland’s BIG little city over Anniversary Weekend 2013. Bursting with the unexpected, these performers will delight and surprise you. The dance floor ‘Beast’, Snap Boogie; the highly skilled circus fools Picapau and Mantega; acrobatic cyclist Jessica Arpin; stuntman, contortionist, escapologist, clown and sword swallowing Murray Molloy; Billions Cobra, who has more than fifteen TV appearances including The Late Show with David Letterman and the Ellen DeGeneres Show; America’s Got Talent contestant and five Guinness World Records holder, Matt Baker; a romantic comedy by Eloise Green; and Equilibrium Circus with explosive Feets of Fire acrobatics.

Acts happening all over the Auckland CBD, including Viaduct Harbour, Downtown Westfield, Vulcan Lane, Wynyard Quarter and Princes Wharf.

The festival runs from Friday 25 to Monday 28 January 2013. Day shows start every day at 12 noon. Night shows run on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7.30pm in Market Square, Viaduct Harbour.

Zip on your best clapping hands, firm up your stomping boots and dive down the back of the couch for a handful of loose change. Then make your way down to the city for the experience of a life time.
