Come check out the 2012 New Zealand Freestyle Football championship! 10 of the best freestyle footballers in the country will battle it out in the heart of Wellington's CBD for the title.
Freestyle football is the sport/art of performing amazing tricks and manoeuvres with a football. It's a sport whose popularity has exploded over the last decade due to YouTube.
Freestyle football is guaranteed to entertain you before the Phoenix game vs Perth Glory. Amongst the freestylers is Graeson Cooper, 2010 Red Bull Style Australia Champion, Olly Bowman the current New Zealand Champion and Red Rocket, one of the best footbag freestylers (hacky-sack) in the world.
The event is hosted by Yellow Fever.
