The animated face of Tim Wilson will be familiar to viewers of Television New Zealand as the long-time correspondent covering world events from New York. Now back in New Zealand, Tim Wilson, novelist, is attracting critical notice as a writer of fiction. His novel Their Faces Were Shining, set at the advent of The Rapture, has been well received. More recently, a volume of short stories, The Desolation Angel, draws more directly on the expatriate experience.
David Larsen will engage with Tim to talk about how New York may have informed this recent work and the return to a writing life in God-zone.
