Enhancing Chi Sao Skills & Structures
If it is assumed that at some stage in our lives a physical confrontation is inevitable, the opponent will close on you and make contact, including pushing, shoving and hitting. This is why developing confidence in chi sao in the closer range is of most benefit at this time. Once close-range skills are reasonable and confident, then we can start moving the range further out over time to deal with kicking and how to close range from the longer distance.
Two days of chi sao will be great way to spend a good amount of time on any particular drill if it needs some tweaking and elaboration, both intellectually and physically.
Day 1: Includes beginners and advanced chi sao / wing chun practitioners. Sifu Dana Wong will guide each group through the day ensuring everyone's understanding and ability improves immensely.
Day 2: Minimum skill levels of two arm chi sao rolling apply for day 2 (please ask if you are unsure), therefore this day is open to wing chun practitioners only.
This is an investment of $80 for one day or $160 for both days, will be fast paced, informative and well worth it to propel your wing chun. Please make payment with your name and chi sao as reference to: The National Bank 06-0592-0088367-000.
The workshop will run from 9am sharp to 3:30pm both days. There will be 2 x 30 minute breaks, so please bring a lunch, water and towel.
Any questions, please contact Stu Dunn, (021) 411-117, Stu@QianLiDao.co.nz
