Showcases the work of quiltmakers up and down the East Coast, from Hicks Bay to Cape Palliser. Held at the historic Pukeora Estate, Waipukurau, the exhibition includes both traditional and contemporary patchwork from wall hanging size to large bed quilts. For a feast of colour and creativity out of this world, come visit 23-25 March 2012. For your retail enjoyment a merchant's mall (patchwork oriented), and food and wine tasting are available on site. For those living on the East Coast and wanting to exhibit, categories include:

Traditional pieced, both under & over 1.2m
Traditional appliqued, both under & over 1.2m
Contemporary under & over 1.2m
Group quilt
Children's quilt (quilt made for a child)
Pictorial quilt
"Harvest happenings" challenge

Maximum size of any one quilt 2.5m on any one side. Prizes will be awarded in each category as well as Best of Show and a variety of other prizes.
