The Winds of Colorful Guizhou is a large song and dance performance with rich folk customs and local flavour, which was specially designed to brand and extend the muti-national culture of China Guizhou province. It blends the best literary and artistic talents, and most outstanding folk culture. It unifies many folk customs into a body, and assembles the folk art essence.
It shows the colourful minority culture and truly reflects the daily life of the minorities in Guizhou. The festival of drum, the sacrifice scene with people on Yi paraments, and the working and entertainment sciences are infused with folk climate, folk customs and folk conditions. Watching the performance is a thrilling view into sightseeing the development of Guizhou.
After the premiere in 2005, The Winds of Colorful Guizhou has performed about 1500 times, attracted about 1,200,000 audiences both in China and the world.
