Broadway's greatest musical takes the story of star-crossed lovers into 1950s Manhatten where the rival Hispanic and local gangs clash in the streets. Maria, sister of the Puerto Rican leader Bernardo, falls in love at first sight with Tony, of the Jets. The best songs ever: "America", "Tonight", "Maria", "Somewhere".
Leads are doubled in this Takapuna Grammar School cast of over 100.
