Auckland Council announces the 8th Annual West Artists’ Open Studio weekend and invites you to take a tour of local artists’ studios on 24 and 25 March 2012.
Over 200 artists at 54 venues throughout West Auckland will be displaying works from a vast range of mediums including ceramics, glass, painting, fashion, jewellery, sculpture, book art, cartooning and mixed media. Artists will be on site to discuss their work, techniques and demonstrate their processes.

Most of the studios are open for entire weekend from 10am to 4pm, though please check the brochure to make sure.
To plan your tour, take the brochure and a street map and visit the studios of your choice for free, or hop on one of the four planned bus tours for $15 per person which will take you to five selected studios. (Bus tour routes on page 2 of the brochure).
