If you are interested in learning about your own tupuna artforms, the day begins with an exhibition viewing of taonga and artists talk, followed by practical workshops with Toi Whakarākai weaving and carving tutors’ who will assist with poi piu/poi raupō or kōwhaiwhai creation. We have limited spaces available therefore register your interest with Matene or Pip on 06 364 6571. Please BYO kai/food for a shared lunch and morning tea will be supplied.
