Harry Ricketts - Strange Meetings
Harry Ricketts is a poet, academic, editor and reviewer who studied English at Oxford University and lived in Asia before moving to New Zealand. His 20 published works include The Unforgiving Minute: A Life of Rudyard Kipling and his recent Strange Meetings: The Poets of the First World War. Ricketts’ latest collection of poems, Just Then, will be launched at Writers and Readers Week.
Harry Ricketts and Paula Green edited 99 Ways into New Zealand Poetry, the first significant, full-length book on this country’s poetry in a number of years. Ricketts teaches creative non-fiction and English at Victoria University. Join him in conversation with Ingrid Horrocks on biography, poetry, and the spaces in between.
With support from the Lion Foundation.
