This event mark’s the start of the big weekend highlighting grunty vehicles and racing in Paeroa, being held on the day before “Battle of the Streets”. You can stand in the main street of Paeroa at 11am and watch the procession of V8 cars & motorbikes make their way to the Paeroa Racecourse where they remain on display into the afternoon.

It is $2 for public entry into the show where you can enjoy a sausage or a mussel fritters from the BBQ, wash it down with a beer from the bar whilst listening to some great live music. If you are up for bargain hunting then you will enjoy browsing through the many recycled items in the swap meet or the women might prefer buying a T-shirt, or dress from the many other stalls. The canopy of large trees on the racecourse give wonderful shade for both cars and people so you can spend a good couple of hours soaking it all up. This year features the NZ Hot Rod Winning Car.
