Upper Hutt Posse are musical pioneers unrelenting in their momentum producing groove driven music with meaningful phraseology. The new album “Declaration Of Resistance” fuses rap, reggae, funk, soul and rock, it follows an electronica dubstep-drumnbass album released a year prior. Not confined to any one style, or to how they create music, new musicians and personalities keep the lineup fluid yet solid, revolving around the central figures Te Kupu, who’s recently transformed to rhythm guitar-vocals and MC Wiya on bass-vocals.
