Uni and Her Ukulele with the Nelson Ukulele Orchestra

San Franciscan ukulele sensation, Uni and Her Ukulele is back to play for her Nelson fans with her fun brand of feel-good pop anthems.

That blonde Venus hair, those frilly outfits, that sweet, sweet voice: It could only be Uni & Her Ukulele. The uke's pink, usually, and the girl's obsessed with unicorns

Although Uni claims both Ol' Dirty Bastard and Stevie Nicks as influences and she strays a long, long way from traditional.

She started Uni and Her Ukulele three years ago.

This accomplished young lady has sung with Johnny Otis, and has opened for the likes of James Brown, Huey Lewis, Kids in the Hall’s Scott Thompson, Ray Charles, The Four Tops, Tower of Power, Coco Taylor, Sean Hayes and Jollie Holland, to name a few. She has toured multiple times in the States and Europe.

2010 was a big year for Uni and her Ukulele! She is finishing up yet another album and has been on tour in the States, Europe, Australia and New Zealand!

She will be joined by locals The Nelson Ukulele Orchestra, some of Nelson Most talented musicians and singers playing Uke, Mandalin and bass
