Ultimate War and Peace Overnight Dive Trip

Join the team from Fullers GreatSights Bay of Islands and Dive Ops on board Ipipiri for a unique cruise and dive experience taking in both the Cavalli islands and the Bay of islands. Departing at 1.00pm we will head to the magical Cavalli Islands to the wreck of the Rainbow Warrior where our first 2 dives take place. If you're a non diver then enjoy the awesome scenery and commentary as we travel along the coast. Once back on board enjoy a delicious 3 course buffet dinner and dessert whilst we anchor for the night. Enjoy the space of one of the Spacious Ocean view Cabins as you settle in for the night.

Take in the coastal scenery with your cooked or continental breakfast as we head back to the Bay of Islands to the wreck of the HMNZS Canterbury for your next 2 dives.

For the adventurous and conditions permitting a night reef dive is also included.

All departures, Diving and Dive sites are subject to the Terms and conditions of Fullers GreatSights and Dive Ops.
You must be 15 years or older to do an intro dive.
All divers will be contacted by the team at Dive Ops 7 days prior to departure.

Please note that some regular afternoon activities such as kayaking, snorkeling and beach and bush walking may be affected due to dive operations.

Following is an outline of the proposed itinerary (subject to change)

1.pm - Depart Maritime Building Via Coach
1.15pm - Boarding Vessel and Welcome / Safety Brief
1.30pm - Depart Opua for the Cavallis
2.00pm - Brief for all divers (Dive Ops)
3.30pm - Arrive at dive site
4.00pm - Divers away, other guests can kayak, snorkel etc.
6.00pm - All guests back on board, vessel moves to overnight anchorage preferably where a night dive can take place.
7.30pm - Dinner service.
9.00pm - Dinner service completed, possible night dive takes place.

5.30am - Depart Cavallis for Deepwater Cove
7.15am - Breakfast served
7.30am - Arrive Deep Water Cove
7.45am - Divers away on the Canterbury
8.45am - Divers back on board, depart for Opua
10.00am - Arrive Opua Wharf
