Tough Guy and Gal Challenge

So you're tough, but are you tough enough to take on the Tough Guy and Gal Challenge?

If you've got power and endurance, want to get down and dirty, have an outstanding time, then these unique off-road running events are for you.

The events are open to both male and female competitors who are 13 years of age and older. Challenge yourself on a course that includes swamp crossings, a spiders web net climb, crawl under barb wire, beautiful native bush trails, a range of natural and man made obstacles, mud and more mud.

Event day timetable:
8:30-10:30am: Registration at the venue.
11am: Start of the 12km event.
11:15am: Start of the 6km event.
1:45pm: Prizegiving at the venue.
5:30-11pm: Party time at the Kingsgate Hotel.

What to wear:
It is strongly advised that competitors wear a thermal polypropylene top and running shoes during the event. You will get wet and muddy. A dry set of clothing, beanie and jacket is highly recommended following your event. Football or rugby boots with moulded studs are acceptable, running spikes or boots with aluminium studs are not permitted.

There will be hot showers available to clean yourself up so bring a towel! There will also be hot Barkers drinks given out to warm you up from the inside!

Food and drinks:
Each competitor will receive a Loaded sports drink on the finish line. Complimentary hot Barkers drink post event. Other hot foods and beverages will be available from the venue for purchase.

Age limit:
Competitors must be at least 13 years old on the day of the event to compete.

Limited numbers:
Each event has limited places available - so make sure you enter early to avoid disappointment. Online entries are available from 1 April or download an entry form and send it in.
