Thought Creature - Singles Release Show

Wellington's mysterious psychedelic soundsters Thought Creature have returned from a six month relocation in Germany and are back in New Zealand once again. The band will play their first headline show at Bar Bodega tonight.

The band have spent the last six months based in Berlin playing rock'n'roll dives, glitter fueled dance clubs, underground bat caves and the black forest. Despite accusations by local Poliezi regarding the running of illegal discotheques the band have beat the border and resisted the charge, rolling back into Aotearoa with a feast of new recordings and a penchant for the big beat.

The show will also feature the visuals of VJ Lady Lazer Light. For those in the dark the amazing VJ Lady Lazer Light has been casting her magic psychedelic silk screen projections over the TC sound throughout their European travels playing live on stage with the band and adding her own visual twist to the bands sonic pop psychedelia.

In lieu of the excitement on March 1st Thought Creature will release for download via their bandcamp site a compilation of tracks from both the unreleased album Ocean Dream and the unreleased EP Total Recall. This will be a pay as you like download and will be accompanied by a small run of physical copy's available at the show.

Joining Thought Creature will be The Shocking and Stunning and Black City Lights. Both have gained reputations as amazing live acts and will add to the night to make this an amazing show.

This will be one of only a very small handful of performances Thought Creature will play in New Zealand 2012 so don't miss out!
