theMurderChord Auckland, a two-piece piano driven, punk-rock/swing-stomp band comprised of the two drummers from MissingTeeth and We Dunno, touring Wellington and beyond in a two week mission around the South Island.
The live show is a well polished shambles. Using left over pieces of Ska, rock, metal and swing, and presenting it as a fairly well dressed punk rock band, it's hard to say where you might have ever seen anything like it before.
"theMurderChord is an atonal noise made by a piano when sounding a full octave of notes at once usually in a mashing action with your forearm, made famous by the band of the same name".
