Unknown to many, in the depths of New Zealand's economy there existed a small enterprise called the "Egg and Brick Emporium" - colloquially known as the "E 'n' B" - purveyor of eggs, bricks, bassoons, miscellaneous puzzles pieces and other necessary goods. Jack (young man in need of a job) is about to join this store on its rise, along with current shareholders Max (frazzled workaholic), Nathan (poultry enthusiast) and Forest (Nathan's less poultry-enthused girlfriend).
Spurred by a spurious marketing campaign & dubious dealings with doubly-dubious multinational corporations whilst battling an overly litigious QC and other malignant forces, the store will achieve success of astronomical degrees. But with the pride comes the fall...a fall with global implications...
