Join the New Zealand 2011 band of the year as they perform this ANZAC inspired programme.
Conflict, peace, camaraderie and remembrance... a lot of the great music of the 20th century can trace its roots to war and the military.
A great deal of the traditional repertory for brass band is tied to the military and the roots of the brass ensemble itself can also be traced back to the operations and rituals of the armed forces.
Of course, there will be marches and hymn tunes, but the band of the year will be reaching much further in to this diverse musical world to bring you a varied line-up with something for everyone at this special time of year.
