The Playground NZ presents The Performance Arcade, a mini festival in 13 shipping containers, with 50 artists, over four days, for 13 hours a day including a bar!
The Performance Arcade is a festival of new performance and visual art practices in 9 shipping containers along the Wellington Waterfront. Featuring mainly free events, The Performance Arcade is part of the 2012 NZ Fringe Festival.
Celebrating design and performance and collaborates with over 50 New Zealand Artists from a variety of areas including: sonic, design, live art, interactive, musicians, performance and costume.
Featured open-air concerts include: 1st March - 'Eidolon' (by Nervous Doll Dancing), 2nd March - 'New Media New Music' concert featuring Interrupt Collective and Glass Vaults, 3rd March - Wellington favorites The Nudge.
