The Old North Shore - the everyday collective laboratory.

Paul Woodruffe, Ilse-Marie Erl, Simon Gamble, Edith Amituanai, Ian Henderson, William Barbedes.

Opening event Tuesday 21 February 5 – 7pm.

The first Snowhite exhibition for 2012 is a multi-disciplinary collaborative project. The ongoing focus is landscape site analysis, mapping and advocacy for neglected and threatened places of special character.

The “old” north shore of Auckland City has many treasures of heritage, landscape and architecture. The sites explored in this exhibition are lesser known and neglected. The resulting works were created to help local residents protect and restore these Taonga to the public. The Collective uses a methodology that can be a tool for advocacy within town planning and political platforms.
