This event takes place in and around the iconic township of Waihi at the base of the Coromandel Peninsula, the Nugget Multisport Festival will take you on an unforgettable adventure from the coast at Waihi Beach to the rim of the mighty Martha Mine and our spectacular finish line in central Waihi. Along the way you'll run along remote rocky coastlines, along cliff tops and down hidden beaches, mountain bike along rolling single track and through private farmland, paddle along a spectacular coastline and road cycle through quiet Waihi farm country.
Formerly the Anaconda Adventure Race Waihi, The Nugget is in its second year in the multisport calendar and brings you all that is great about being outdoors and active, and rolls it into an event that everyone can be part of.
