The Jazz Verses is a presentation of exciting new compositions from four young Christchurch composers Robbie Averill, Catherine Wells, Bazi Baker and Chris Wethey.
The evening will showcase a fusion of jazz and classical music from four different perspectives and will be performed with the Christchurch Youth Orchestra, conducted by Luke Di Somma. As well the evening will feature the Christchurch Youth Orchestra performing jazz arrangements by Christchurch jazz maestros Tom Rainey and Cameron Pearce, and a special guest appearance by the wonderful Fiona Pears.
An event not to be missed, this will be the highlight of this year's musical events for many.
