Mary Lincoln was the wife of former United States President Abraham Lincoln. Barry Bauman, art conservator, is to deliver the inaugural lecture on the above titled topic at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield, Illinois at the end of April.
This is a sneak preview to that lecture.
Barry Bauman has a Masters Degree in Art History from the University of Chicago, is the former Associate Conservator of Paintings for the Art Institute of Chicago, is an Elected Fellow of the American Institute for Conservation.
Barry is currently visiting New Zealand and we are privileged to have him speaking here at the Rotorua Arts Village on an exciting new discovery made whilst in the process of conserving 'Mary Lincoln'.
Limited seating is available on a first in first served basis.
