The Controlled Falling Project presented by Thissideup Acrobatics in association with Beca.
Enter a laboratory of acrobatic impossibilities, where old science meets new circus in a heart-stopping, high-energy creative experiment.
Taking a contemporary approach to traditional and popular circus disciplines from across Asia, America and Europe, the concept of Controlled Falling is explored through Teeter Board, Russian Bar, Roue-Cyr, Human Pyramids, Synchronised Hand Balancing and other acrobatic feats that demonstrate the incredible skill and audacity of the cast.
Controlled Falling Project achieves a mesmerising balance between systematically planned action and impulsive energy. The high-level acrobatic skill, precision timing and quirky characters are captivating for audiences of all ages in this bold production, which is bursting at the seams with physical skill, visual delight and unconventional vitality.
