Waihi's Heart of Gold Blast Duathlon showcases Waihi's famous gold mine and parks. The courses showcase fantastic historic landmarks, native bush, parklands and stunning views. There are four options available: a short and long road course incorporating the Newmont Gold Pit Rim walkway and road cycle. 2012 sees the introduction of a new and unique off-road option. Short and long options available.
Run / ride as an individual or a team.
The event caters for experienced athletes, teams, families, and regular sporting individuals.
