The Axis of Awesome World Tour 2006

Having toured the world from Sweden to Iowa, Edinburgh to Adelaide, one of Australia’s finest comedy exports decided to venture into uncharted territory as a band – New Zealand.

That’s right; The Axis of Awesome is finally heading over the ditch with The Axis of Awesome World Tour 2006 - jam-packed with old favourites (including “The Four Chords”), as well as new songs, explosions, dancing girls, volcanoes, bears riding tricycles and jokes about Benny's height.

The Axis of Awesome World Tour 2006 is a “best of” show, bringing together tried-and-trusted material Jordan (Raskopolous – The Ronnie Johns Half Hour), Benny (Davis – Super Mario Galaxy enthusiast) and Lee (Naimo – Wiggles fan) have performed across the world to sold-out audiences. In 2011 they played the prestigious Debating Hall in the Guilded Balloon at the Edinburgh Festival to sellout audiences and critical acclaim - receiving multiple 5-star reviews. This is the 4th year in a row that The Axis of Awesome has sold out at the Edinburgh Festival.

In 2011 alone, the group toured the United States twice – performing at colleges, amphitheatres, comedy clubs, theatre and even one kitchen, along the way releasing their newest album, Animal Vehicle, to the masses.
