A full day music workshop for teachers, therapists and parents with New Zealand's leading early childhood music specialist Julie Wylie.
This exciting workshop will introduce teachers and parents to the exciting world of Musical Play and leave them armed with exciting and innovative ideas for music in early childhood. Participants will gain an understanding of how to conduct effective, fun and regulating music sessions and feel confident in their own musicality as well as their ability to engage all children and develop their musicality and creativity.
Julie Wylie's work in early childhood music is internationally recognised, and her Musical Play philosophy and award winning CDs have seen her invited to present workshops and lectures all over the world. Her philosophy is based on the most up to date research and has evolved through her 30 years of work in this field. She is Senior Pediatric Music Specialist at the Champion Centre, where her pioneering work in early intervention is well recognised, and runs her own music school.
