Players: Primary school children from year 5 to year 8. New & beginner players.
Teams: Mixed teams of 4 players from your School
Cost: $80 per team, with Tennis Manawatu supplying the Tennis Balls.
Competition: This is for term one 2012
Rackets: Players are encouraged to bring their own racket although rackets will be available for those beginners that don’t have their own. You can purchase a Wilson tennis racket from Kelly’s Sports.

Format/rules:
• Using table tennis scoring. Parents can help to score
• To be played on a singles court.
• Serving will be bounce and hit. (Under arm)
• Balls and score card to be returned to the desk at the end of the round.
• You need to be at the courts 15 min before your round is due to start to collect you score card and tennis balls.
• Players are to wear their school PE shirt if your school has a PE uniform.
• TMI will contact the school before 2.30pm to cancel.
• Each team must be accompanied by a teacher or parent to help with the team.
• Points table will go up on the TMI website www.tennismanawatu.org.nz as well as displayed at the venue.
