Te Radar's Eating the Dog is a multi-award winning show fresh from sell-out seasons at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival and around the country.
Eating the Dog is a hilarious (and educational) look through New Zealand's lesser-known history. Written and performed by satirist and raconteur Te Radar, it focuses on the people that he considers to be his New Zealand heroes, those who gave things a go, when they perhaps shouldn't have. Theirs was to do or die, more often the latter.
Te Radar has had huge success with the top-rating shows Homegrown, Off the Radar, Radar's patch and Global Radar. He was nominated for a Quantas Award for Best Presenter in 2009 for Off The Radar and in 2008 for the documentary series Hidden in the Numbers. "Radar's Patch" won the Quantas Award for Best Information/Lifestyle Programme.
A self described opinionist, he has twice won the Qantas Media Award for Best Humour Column, and continues to commentate on society's foibles.
