Te Awanga Estate Sunday Sessions

Last chance to dance! April 14th is our final Sunday Session for Summer, and with the Cellar Door closing for winter at the end of April, we are going out with a bang!

Come and join in the fun as we celebrate the 2013 harvest with fabulous live music from the world famous (in NZ) Tropical Downbeat Orchestra - funk soul jazz boogie at it's Hawke's Bay best. Featuring live sets from the Akina Vinyl Appreciation Society, its going to be a memorable afternoon here at Te Awanga Estate. Gates open a bit earlier at 11am: music kicks off at 12-5pm to beat the end of daylight savings.

Go loco with the locals - Sunday Sessions lounging on the front lawn overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean while listening to cruisy beats from local musicians and DJs. Created by locals for locals, it's a family-friendly, relaxing atmosphere, everybody welcome.

Enjoy our stunning array of wines from the Rod McDonald Wine Company, including Te Awanga Estate, Frizzell, Blanket Hills, Quarter Acre - wines at prices that won't make you grumpy, delicious pizzas, platters and a cheeky beer or two if you are keen. Picnic friendly but please, no BYO alcohol.
