Tandrom Gypsy Trio is Fiona Smythe (violin) Richard Prowse (double bass) and Simon Burgess (guitar, vocals).
These three accomplished and experienced musicians have been performing together for several years, playing weddings, concerts and entertainment venues in the region. They play an energetic mixture of Eastern European, klezmer, classic jazz and Gypsy music with rhythms that excite and inspire dance.
Fiona's passionate gypsy violin is underpinned by Richard's virtuoso arco bass linking jazz and its folk origins. Songs from Simon's wide jazz/pop repertoire complete the experience whether they are schmoozing their public at restaurant tables or exhorting audiences to get off the chairs and dance around the room.
