Tairua School Wine & Food Festival

The biggest food and wine festival on the Coromandel Peninsula this summer! Set in a beautiful harbourside setting in Tairua on the eastern seaboard, the annual event features gourmet food stalls, local wines and beers, quality arts and crafts, live music and a fantastic kidzone with stories, craft making, face painting and more to keep the young ones entertained all day long.

Tairua school has limited parking but is easy to get to. Simply take the shuttle from the rugby grounds in the centre of town for a gold coin donation (about 10-15 mins walk) or hop on the ferry from Pauanui. Entry is $5, or $10 with a festival wine or beer glass (ID required). Under 18s are free. No pets allowed. No BYO. Tairua School is a smokefree zone. Cash only on gates. Eftpos available inside (admin fee applies).

Tairua is only two hours from Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga and this is the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind and soak up the sights, sounds and tastes of the Coromandel summer. All proceeds go to Tairua School.

The Managers will be performing for your entertainment along with The Captain Snappy Band.
