Is there anything parents and caregivers of preschoolers can do to make sure the children in their care get the best start to reading and writing when they go to school? This workshop explores fun, inexpensive and easy ideas for parents, caregivers and preschoolers to do together that will help children be more confident when they start reading and writing at school.
Barbara Morris
Barbara spent most of her career as a primary school teacher specialising in remedial reading. She was a reading specialist at Southwell Preparatory School in Hamilton, where she built up her extensive knowledge of reading and writing through research and experience.
