With the RIO+20 (UN Conference on Sustainable Development) only days away, this is an opportunity to consider sustainable possibilities for this city in which we live, and in which we would like our grandchildren to live and prosper. Dr Murray Sheard will present to us his ideas on what a sustainable Auckland might look like. We will look at both the larger issues around business, transport and community resilience, as well as practices that individuals and small communities can contribute themselves.
