Jesus' words just days before he died ring out to his disciples and to everyone: "This will be remembered of her wherever the gospel is told in all the world!". There are so, so many women, from every religious tradition and country, who are bringing good news to their people in their worlds.
We will look at stories... children's stories from around the world; the scriptures' stories of women and the tales of women in our day who are bringing hope, freedom, justice, peace and delight to the world today.
It will be a time to stir our own hearts and imaginations, to dream and decide what we will do and how we will be remembered.
Megan Mckenna (USA): author, theologian, storyteller and university lecturer who has worked with indigenous groups, and in 2002 was appointed an Ambassador of Peace for Pax Christi. Foremost, she is a lover of words... spun to make meaning, transform and bring hope to the world.
Book through the Mercy Spirituality Centre. Please do not contact St Mary's College.
