Come and enjoy a yoga retreat on beautiful Waiheke Island, just 35 minutes ferry ride from downtown Auckland. Give yourself a weekend to rejuvenate your body and mind, in the very special atmosphere of Piritahi Marae, on Blackpool Beach.
The weekend includes:
Three yoga classes
Satyananda Yoga Nidra™ (deep relaxation) & meditation practices
The opportunity to learn more about Maori culture; there will be a powhiri (Maori welcoming ceremony) on Friday afternoon, and the chance to go out on a waka on Saturday afternoon, subject to weather and tides
Simple, tasty vegetarian food
Plenty of time to relax on Saturday afternoon. You can read a book, go for a walk along the beach or in the local bush, or have a cup of tea and meet new and old yoga friends in a friendly and relaxed environment.
Suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced.
