Take this opportunity to get out in the community and begin to lead a healthy lifestyle in a relaxed environment. The vision is to see more people walking more often. There are already some great social walking groups in Waitakere that provide a fun, easy going, community activity, free of charge! This year will see a mixture of walks hosted by walking groups and walks led by local ANZ and National Bank branches. These walks will be 60 minutes long and will showcase the beautiful surrounds of Waitakere. Sport Waitakere in partnership with ANZ New Zealand will then host an after function with light refreshments enabling everyone who walked to mix and mingle.
