Sport Tasman Top Team

Have you got what it takes? Get your mates together and come battle it out for the Top Team Award!

Compete in a number of outdoor games like the sac race, gumboot toss, wine barrel roll, see saw challenge, ring toss and many more! Be prepared to get wet while you run, lift, toss, crawl and roll your way to the top!

Top Team is based on the old Top Town TV show that ran in the '80s and early '90s, where teams of 6-8 tackle 10-team challenges over a few hours. Teams are normally made up of friends, families and workmates with ages between 8 and 60 years old.

A big part of the challenge is also the crazy costumes and creative team strips that participants turn up in. A grown man with a moustache wearing fluro clothes in a sack race doesn’t look out of place at this event.

To help get Marlburians into the swing of things, Sport Tasman will be doing a round of “taster games” at local Blenheim schools during February and March.

Teams:
Junior teams are for players in Year 4 to 8.
Senior teams are open to all ages.

Teams must be six to eight players, with a minimum of two females engaged in a game at any one time. Each game will require at least six active players.
