After five ferocious gigs in Nelson to packed crowds, this is Spiral's first public performance in Auckland. The 3 hours will be filled with mostly original samba/funk/reggae/jazz grooves, with a few covers thrown in with a Spiral twist.

A fusion of funk soul and samba, jazz and blues grooves, Spiral's high energy, foot tapping beats are sure to keep audiences on their feet.

Spiral are an exciting band from Auckland. With fresh improvisation and spontaneous interplay, Spiral creates live music at its best. The band has an impressive array of new “get on your feet” original tunes, all about the great land of Aotearoa.

Spiral project is a collaboration of musicians who have played around NZ and internationally in bands such as dDub, Tahuna Breaks, Batucada Sound Machine and many more.

The band creates original music which incorporates styles from around the world. With punchy horn lines, raging solos and melodic vocals, Spiral aims to set a new level of live performance and musicianship.
