Australia / New Zealand Tour 2012.
2012: The Mayans call it the end of the “fourth world”. Some call it the year of doomsday. Others believe it is simply the end of the world as we know it. For Sampology, 2012 is the Super Visual Apocalypse - an audio visual celebration that's touring Australia and New Zealand from May 31st - June 28th, encouraging us all to party like there's no tomorrow.
This end of the world stuff has obviously played on Sampology's mind. His forthcoming single 'Stars', featuring Brisbane's Hannah Macklin, beckons us to “look at the stars” if this is your last night on earth, with her vocals adding lushness to this snappy track. 'Stars' is released May 1st.
His debut album 'Doomsday Deluxe' features a number of exciting collaborations. The UK's reggae vocal don Serocee takes you a high energy jungle journey in 'Around The Globe'; London-born / Sydney-based Spikey Tee adds killer soundclash vocals to the Soca/Afrobeat-inspired rhythm on 'One Man Down', and Danielsan features on 'Save Me' - a spaced-out, vocoder cover of Aretha Franklin's track of the same title. But it's not all deep and meaningful, with 'Attack Of The Cats' providing comic relief - a track inspired by the idea that cats will take over the world in 2012. 'Doomsday Deluxe' is released this June.
Sampology's Super Visual Apocalypse is an audio visual live show performed on two turntables and a big ass screen, montaged together from TV, movies, the internet & custom animations & music videos. Sampology's Super Visual Apocalypse pays homage to the legacy and pizazz of Bruce Willis, as he battles the many doomsday challenges that threaten the world's existence in 2012. Dance, laugh, cheer and get ready to party like it's the end of the world!
