Join a small class of eight students to learn basic sewing skills or take the next step. The levels are taught at the same time and the small number of students ensures you will receive the individual attention you need.
Level One:
Using a purchased pattern chosen for “Easy” level of difficulty, this practical course will teach you the fundamentals of sewing and inspire you to make further unique creations. Use our Bernina machines or bring your own.
Level Two:
For students who have completed the sewing beginners series, or have equivalent experience and would like to add to their sewing skills. You will learn the fundamentals of basic buttonholes, zips and fitting your garment. You will need to be sent a materials list on enrolment, including instructions about how to select a suitable pattern and pre-shrink your fabric. Enrolments open to adults and teens 14+ (12+ if enrolling with an adult). Bring your own machine or use ours. Some sewing at home will be necessary if you wish to finish your garment).
