Schools Olympic Festival

Sport Manawatu is organising a Schools Olympic Festival for children Year 1-4 to help celebrate the Olympic Games and sport in general in our region.

School groups will work their way around stations in groups of 15-20 until they have tried all stations. The school with the most points at the end will be the winner of the Schools Olympic Festival Trophy.
Sports that will be involved include: football, gymsports, rugby, rugby league, basketball, tennis, badminton, bike, softball, athletics, squash, cricket

Schools will be allocated a country and are encouraged to dress up accordingly.

Activities will commence at 10am and the closing ceremony will wrap up by 2pm.
