Sanders Alley Geiling

Having astounded audiences around Europe and NZ with their unique and eclectic acoustic sound, Jon Sanders (England/Ireland) Dave Alley (New Zealand) and Toni Geling (Germany) bring their unique show back to Aotearoa in 2012. Known for their diverse selection of original songs, instrumental melodies, explosive rhythms and spontaneous hilarity, the trio are a must-see.

The show sees three superb musicians displaying what's true and great about the world of music today. As individuals they have travelled extensively, picking up influences and musical styles along the way and as a trio they combine this experience with their tantalising chemistry to take the audience into the musical cosmos.

The mastery of Jon's reknowned bouzouki, guitar and ukulele playing locks in with Dave's highly expressive guitar work, captivating percussion and soulful vocal lines while Toni's unique violin, and musical saw playing delves into the Scandinavian, classical, gypsy and eastern traditions.

The New Zealand Tour features music from their album - Continental Drift - which was recorded in Halle, Germany in 2009.
