West Auckland artist Rowena Rooney presents a series of intricately mosaiced surfboards inspired by her Fijian heritage and the land of Aotearoa, her home. Depicting symbols that resonate with her love for the sea, her respect for nature and honouring her Fijian ancestors for their spiritual inspiration, Rowena draws her themes together in one beautifully balanced exhibition.
