With a representational style, Robin’s loosely autobiographical approach combines many different mediums. The starting point is either a literary or a musical source, both of which are combined with a personal life event to produce an artwork that is multi-dimensional, often metaphorical and full of memorable detail. Robin does not attempt to purely illustrate any of the sources, but focuses on and brings out the emotional aspects of a situation or event.
