Comedy vigilante Raybon Kan is judge, jury and joker in the critically-acclaimed stand-up show which wowed Comedy Festival audiences in Auckland and Wellington.
He's been called IN(appropriate), OUT(rageous) and OFF(ensive). This time, Raybon’s latest show promises to be EDGY(cational).
The author of such political pottery as 'The Official Mug of Non-Racism' (Available Only in White); and the lyricist of the religiously-inclusive song 'Do They Know It's Ramadan?', Raybon has recently completed an extensive tour of small towns, also known as ‘the drive up from Wellington.'
The uproarious show delves into Raybon's three R's: race, religion and relationships. "Something to offend everyone," promises Raybon.
Thrill as Raybon gallops head-long against complacency, standing up in his stirrups to joust helmetless against the forces of Conservatism, King & Country. Watch as the Emperor's New Clothes dissolve into a nudist beach.
Raybon's been named Best Comedian by both Metro (twice) and North & South (twice), and he's performed at comedy festivals in Montreal and Edinburgh.
At the Melbourne Comedy Festival, The Age newspaper named him one of the festival highlights.
"The thinking woman's comedian... Must-see, nerve-wrenching, white-knuckle comedy."- Auckland Scene
“He seems to have a compulsion to dig himself a hole -- juicy stuff.” - Theatreview
"Hilarious."- Listener
