Raybon Kan returns with the critically-acclaimed stand-up show which wowed Comedy Festival audiences.
He's been called IN(appropriate), OUT(rageous) and OFF(ensive). This time, Raybon promises to be EDGY(cational).
The author of such political pottery as 'The Official Mug of Non-Racism' (Available Only in White); and lyricist of the religiously-inclusive song 'Do They Know It's Ramadan?', Raybon recently completed an extensive tour of small towns, also known as ‘the drive up from Wellington.'
The show delves into the three R's: race, religion and relationships. "Something to offend everyone," promises Raybon. He will also wonder whether pedestrians should wear helmets.
Named Best Comedian by Metro (twice) and North & South (twice), Raybon's performed at comedy festivals in Montreal and Edinburgh. And, this one time, at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, The Age newspaper even named him one of the festival highlights.
Thrill as Raybon gallops head-long against complacency, ready to joust helmetless against the forces of Conservatism, King & Country. You'll be amazed when Raybon says exactly what you think, just before you think it.
"The thinking woman's comedian... Must-see, nerve-wrenching, white-knuckle comedy." - Auckland Scene
“He seems to have a compulsion to dig himself a hole -- juicy stuff.” - Theatreview
"Hilarious."- Listener
