Come to the market! It is small and perfectly formed.

Every Friday from 3.30pm till 6ish we have delicious organic meat, real bacon, sausages made with venison, pork or beef (beef with cracked pepper and Merlot was my favourite this week). Then there is the freshly smoked kahawai, mullet, eel and roe and other seafood delicacies.

The fabulous Pukeko Bakery tempts with are fresh breads and delicious pastries, and the co-op sells a great range on seasonal organic fruit and vegetables. To make your Friday night a joy, there is a wonderful array of Iranian dips and goodies - peppers stuffed with feta, olives, flat breads and delicious dips. Preserves, pickles and jams tempt your taste buds - all sorts of goodies to get your mouth watering.

This is just what you need on a Friday night! Add a glass of wine and there is your dinner sorted! Plus more for that dinner you planned on with discerning friends.
